IMPERPOSE LINK AND VERIFICATION
In mid-September in St. Petersburg, the official opening ceremony of the BKK-NORTH research and production complex took place, where the machines under the F. O.R. brand have been manufactured for three years. T. At the ceremony it was already possible to see this equipment. To this event, the Baltic Industrial Company & raquo; (BOD) for fifteen years.
FROM REPAIRS TO OWN PRODUCTION
BOD & mdash; It is not a newcomer to the Russian market of metalworking equipment. Starting in 2002, the company has gone through all stages of evolution in such a difficult segment of the real sector of the Russian economy as the machine tool industry. First, there was a major overhaul and modernization of complex types of metal cutting equipment, including heavy lathes and horizontal machining centers. After 4 years, the first deliveries of foreign metal-working equipment started, and today BOD has seven partners from Australia, Taiwan and South Korea. At the same time, the engineering competency was strengthening, and in 2014 a joint project was presented, "Machine-tool construction", for the realization of which the efforts of the BOD were combined, "Rosatom" and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great. The opening of a new engineering and production complex BOD-NORTH was an important milestone in the development of the project "Machine-tool construction". Behind the four letters of the brand F. O.R. T. seen an ambitious program-maximum: Force. Opportunities. Russian Technologies & mdash; Force. Capabilities. Russian Technologies.
In his speech at the opening ceremony of Diana Kaledin, the general director of the BOD, reported that the investment in the project amounted to 3.5 billion rubles. In the modern building with an area of 22,000 sq. M, an innovation center, a workshop for the production of CNC machine tools, an administrative block, a new design bureau of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great are located.
MACHINES
At the start of the project, foreign technologies were used as a basis for the model range, which were purchased from foreign manufacturers, but immediately they began adapting to the specific requirements of Russian customers. This work was done by the engineering department of the BOD and Polytech, and now the joint design bureau is doing it. Today in machine tools such components of the Russian manufacture as revolving heads and tool shops, all mechanical part for installations of waterjet and plasma cutting, protective casings, protections, office protections, conveyors of a shaving, distributing all systems by machine. The depth of localization of machines in the BOD is estimated at 40-50%. Ahead of the next stage of production evolution & mdash; deepening of localization up to the parameters specified in resolution No. 719, namely up to 70%.
THE HOLIDAY IS COMPLETED. FORWARD WORK
Representatives of the government of St. Petersburg, speaking at the opening of the center, did not hide the satisfaction and the fact of strengthening the machine-tool cluster of the city where investments are going. Maxim Meixin, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of St. Petersburg, assured that the BOD has the right to count on the support of the city, in particular for the tax benefits provided by the city legislation.
The congratulation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "SASTA" was bright. Alexey Peskov. He is inside the machine tool industry and no one understands and feels his problems. & laquo; Manufacturing of machines is fraught with a large number of barriers & mdash; financial, bureaucratic, technological & mdash; and in our conditions does not bring the desired profit. Therefore, investors are not rushing into production. I know it well. The development of domestic machine-tool construction & mdash; it is, rather, not a business, but a kind of patriotism & mdash; strengthening of economic independence and security of the country by own strength & raquo;
Alexei Peskov had every reason to rejoice in strengthening the position of the BOD. Together with St. Petersburg's SASTA & raquo; develops projects of two lathes & mdash; HT500 for high-precision machining of complex shape parts up to 500 mm in diameter, inclined configuration, with anti-spindle, and a powerful HT1000 multipurpose lathe with a turning and milling head for machining parts up to 1100 mm in diameter and up to 8 meters in length. For each machine provides a large number of options. The first stage of the
